Storytellers use to use their imaginations to create ppl with super powers,etc as a way to entertain themselves. Even nowadays people use creativity to create shows like charmed or books like harry potter. We see miracles in the Bible and constantly in ancient texts. Surely such things were not just BORN out of twelves thousand different imaginations without any referential point. Like dragons. In the medieval era, there was DEFINITELY no time for fun and games and invention... why are dragons so important in that era as a creature... almost like something their grandparents mentioned in the "back in my day" lecture.
